We are a teaching practice with a strong interest in continuing education and training for all staff.
We are also responsible for teaching undergraduate medical students from Imperial College Medical School and Thames Valley University.
We do ask patients to help us in the teaching of medical students whenever possible. This may mean that at times a student will be sitting in with a doctor to observe your consultation or at times a student may request to examine you. You will still be seen by a GP after being seen by a student and so you may need to allow more time for your consultation.
This will, however, only happen with your consent and there is no obligation for you to agree to student teaching if that is not your wish.
