Nurses
Our nursing is provided by Nurse/Nurse Practitioners who are based at GP clinics at one of our two hubs either within St Charles Hospital or the Violet Melchett Centre.
Patients who require routine cervical smears, childhood immunisations or ear syringing should call the practice as usual to book an appointment at one of the hubs.
Appointments are available every evening and weekend for the convenience of our patients.
However our Health Care Assistants(HCA) performs a variety of tasks, so please give reception details of what you need so they can direct you to the correct member of staff.
Please let the receptionist know the reason for your appointment so we can make sure you are given an appointment with whoever can help you as some services are provided only with a particular Health Care Assistant.
